www.legionsites.com website, American
Legion’ approved and sanctioned website for their Posts, Districts and
Departments?
A 1. You must order on-line by click on the “Purchase
Online” button located on the left navigation menu of any page. Follow the prompts
in the Shopping Cart and please make sure to add as much information as possible.
Q 2. How do I pay for the website?
A 2. Payment can be made by check or credit card. Follow
the Shopping Cart
instructions for choice of payment. If paying by check you will need to print
out the completed invoice and mail it in with your check. make checks payable to The American Legion.
checks should be mailed to The American Legion 5745 Lee Road, Indianapolis,
Indiana 46216.
Q 3. What is included in the payment price?
A 3. START-UP COST ONLY $299.00*. Includes Initial Set-Up + License Fee + Cost of
Registering Your Post’s Domain Name + 1st Year’s Web Hosting * + 10 E-Mail
Addresses.
Q 4. What happens after I place an order for the website?
A 4. Upon approval of payment, authorization is granted to purchase your Post
Domain Name, following your instructions listed in your Shopping Cart
application. Authorization period averages 10 days. In approximately 10 days you
will receive an e -mail containing two URL addresses. The first URL address is
your Post’s URL address. Type your Post’s URL address into any web browsers
address bar, and your website will appear on your computer screen The second URL is
your Post’s Administration address with your exclusive Password. For security
purposes share the password and the Administration URL address only with trusted
members.

Q 5. Is a manual available instructing users how to operate the
website?
A 5. Yes. It is suggested you read the introduction section entitled “ATTENTION
FIRST TIME USERS – READ THESE DIRECTIONS FIRST” Click on the word “HELP” the
home page of www.legionsites.com There
are five Phase 2 written chapters, in PDF format. Download and print these
written instructions for ready reference.

Q 7. What options do I have when using the Photo Gallery?
A 7.You can upload new photos. You can edit existing photo captions, change
existing categories or delete existing Photos. You can create new or edit
excising photo categories. The maximum size allowed is 2 mb. The photo file
names cannot have spaces or symbols like %. Photos will automatically resize to
fit the web page. The upload feature currently supports graphic files (gif,
jpeg,png), flash files *swf), document files. And Acrobat (pdf) documents.

their web site to meet their unique post requirements and share ideas.

Q 9. Is Technical Support available?
A 9.Yes. Free Technical Support. Is available. Please comply with conditions:
1. To better service your Technical Questions they will be answered ONLY when
you complete the Technical question Form online. To access this form, click on
the Technical Support Form link below and complete the form I n next web page,
and click “SUBMIT”.
2. To access The “Technical Support Form” link, visit
www.legionsites.com. On the upper
right-hand corner of the Home Page, click on the word ‘HELP” A copy of the
screen below will appear and click on the “Technical Support Form” and enter
your inquiries on the form.
3.Technical Support questions are answered by email during business hours of
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday CST, and are answered in the order that
